What is the pageant style for Miss Sunshine?
Summertime is almost here so let’s have some fun! All contestants will appear before a panel of judges in a YELLOW OR ORANGE DRESS OR OUTFIT OF CHOICE. Can be a gown, church dress, off-the-rack outfit, short set or anything custom made - as long as it only has yellow, orange or mixture of both in color. No costumes please. However, you may use hand props, hats, removable skirts, etc. Show us your style as you model on stage! We are not glitz, however, there are no hair, makeup or tanning restrictions. Please come dressed ready to compete. There is a small dressing room available but very limited space.

What will the onstage questions be for ages 4 and up?
AGES 4 & up will asked on stage question such as: What do you like to do in Summertime? What’s your favorite thing about Summer? Or something similar.

What is the Miss You Are My Sunshine award?Vote for your favorite contestant! $1 per vote. Each vote is a donation in that contestant's honor! Vote online now or at door. Top 3 winners with the most votes will receive a huge gorgeous crown, rhinestone sash, medal/trophy and prize(s), (minimum 50 votes to receive prizes). *Any contestant that receives 500 votes or more will receive all above plus a $100 cash prize and FREE beauty entry to Miss Mount Carmel! OPTIONAL title, does not affect overalls.
If I win Miss You Are My Sunshine, am I eligible to win other awards?
Yes, we double crown! This is an optional category that does not affect your overall beauty score.

Please come dressed ready to compete. There is a small dressing room available but very limited space. ABSOLUTELY NO MEN OR BOYS OVER THE AGE OF 8 ALLOWED IN THE DRESSING ROOM AREA.
Is there a spectator door admission fee?
Yes, $5 for all spectators ages 5 & up.
What time should I arrive at the pageant?
Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. and ends PROMPTLY at 2:45 p.m. No entries will be accepted after 2:45 p.m. Pageant begins PROMPTLY at 3 p.m.
Schedule: 1: Beauty, all ages. 2: Swimsuit or Fitness, all ages. 3: Crowning in beauty attire.
Will I receive score sheets?
You may pick up score sheets after the pageant. If they are not picked up, then they will be discarded immediately after the pageant.
What format do we model in?
Modeling will be completed in T-Formation.
Where will the judges be from?
The judges will be from out of the area. We do our best to make sure that our judges do not know anyone who is competing. Decisions of judges are final. By signing your entry form you acknowledge our terms and conditions. Signature is required before you can compete. We pride ourselves on being a fair and honest system.
DISCLOSURE: There are NO refunds. Disorderly conduct by parents, spectators, and participants will not be tolerated. Any disorderly persons will be asked to leave the pageant premises immediately. The pageant directors, Wonder Images, Gray Ruritan and all associated parties are NOT responsible for injuries during travel to or from the event, during the event, or for lost or stolen items at the event. We reserve the right to combine or split age divisions. Winners may be asked to attend local community events, and attend the 2019 pageant to crown their successors.
